Area of Focus: Maternal and child health
|
At the heart of the unwavering commitment to maternal and child health, the Human Milk Bank of the Mackenzie Evangelical University Hospital (HUEM) stands out as a beacon of hope for families seeking exceptional care. However, the relentless pursuit of excellence in the services provided requires a significant step towards the modernization and expansion of our resources. The present project emerges as a visionary response to the growing demand and the continuous commitment to promote the health and well-being of vulnerable newborns.
We propose a bold initiative aimed at modernizing the existing equipment in the Milk Bank, as well as the acquisition of new devices that will significantly increase our capacity for processing and storing human milk. By channelling our efforts to improve the essential infrastructure of the Milk Bank, we aim not only to guarantee the quality of the services provided, but also to strengthen the capacity to serve, positively impacting the lives of an ever-increasing number of premature babies and their families.
