The Instituto La Esperanza, is the only healthcare center trained to care for this type of pathology in Norte de Santander department, does not currently have the capacity to create this multisensory center, necessary to provide the community with intellectual disabilities with a process of Personalized multisensory stimulation designed according to comprehensive needs on time, defined for each patient, according to their initial abilities and needs.
The Instituto La Esperanza and Cúcuta Ciudad de los Arboles Rotary Club have been working hand in hand for more than 10 years, supporting them in local improvement projects or comprehensive care projects, either through district subsidies or our own resources. club. This relationship of so many years has made it possible for the needs to be known by the club permanently, since there is a relationship with the members of the board of directors, administrators, teachers and family members who are beneficiaries of the programs.
