 Sufficient detail that the Project is doable : -

Deaf & Dumb School ('Muk Badhir Vidyalaya' in Hindi) is promoted by Shriram Education Society and is one of the oldest and only residential school in nearby four districts offering education from Preschool to Class X. The school is promoted by a group of professionals and qualified, devoted members from community. During its inception in year 1985, there were only two students but dedicated management has grown the school to one of the premium institutes catering the need of around 150 students, most of them are from the weakest section of society.

'The trust' Shriram Education Society is registered under Section 80G to enable the donors who contribute can avail certain tax benefits on their contributions.

The school has well qualified and trained staff who can handle modern equipments. Also, the school has all basic infrastructure like class room, acoustic room, hostel etc.

Hence, looking at the overall scenario as well as the above requirements, we feel that the project is doable.

FOCUS: Focus on a single need or purpose

1. Digital Hearing Aids:

Benefits Enhance hearing ability for students with hearing impairments.

Uses Assist students in understanding spoken language and participating in classroom activities.

Outcome Improved communication skills, better academic performance, increased confidence among students.

2. Computer Lab with Furniture:

Benefits Facilitate access to digital learning resources and enhance computer literacy.

Uses Conducting computer-based lessons, research, and skill development.

Outcome Improved technological skills, enhanced educational opportunities, better integration into the digital world.

3. E-learning Set:

Benefits Provides access to educational content and resources online.

Uses Supplement traditional teaching methods, offer interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Outcome Expanded educational opportunities, increased flexibility in learning, access to a wider range of educational materials.

4. Solar & Generator Set:

Benefits Ensure uninterrupted power supply for essential operations, even in remote areas.

Uses Powering classrooms, computer labs, and other facilities during power outages.

Outcome Consistent access to education, improved reliability of infrastructure, reduced operational disruptions.

5. Toilet Block:

Benefits Promote hygiene and sanitation, essential for overall health and well-being.

Uses Providing clean and safe restroom facilities for students and staff.

Outcome Improved health and hygiene practices, reduced absenteeism due to preventable illnesses, enhanced dignity and comfort for students.

6. Bunk Beds:

Benefits Provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for residential students.

Uses Accommodating students in hostel facilities, maximizing space efficiency.

Outcome Enhanced living conditions, better rest and relaxation, improved focus on studies.

7. Desk Bench & Cupboard:

Benefits Provide furniture for classrooms and student residences.

Uses Creating conducive learning environments, organizing student belongings.

Outcome Improved comfort during study hours, better organization and storage facilities, enhanced classroom aesthetics.

8. Dining Table Set:

Benefits Provide a designated space for communal dining.

Uses Facilitating meals for residential students and staff.

Outcome Encouraging social interaction, fostering a sense of community, promoting healthy eating habits.

9. Speech Room:

Benefits Provide a dedicated space for speech therapy and language development.

Uses Conducting individual and group therapy sessions, practicing speech exercises.

Outcome Improved speech and communication skills, enhanced confidence in verbal expression, better integration into society.

Each element of the project contributes to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with hearing impairments, ultimately leading to their holistic development and integration into mainstream society.

PARTICIPATION

People involved :

Members & Technical staff of Shriram Education Society

How will they participate?

Members & Technical staff of Shriram Education Society shall take care of day to day working of all the instruments along with timely servicing of the various machines as well as maintain the infrastructure with timely repairs & maintenance.

What will each member & technical staff will do ?

Members and staff at Shriram Education Society shall be responsible for the day to day operations. They shall negotiate with the suppliers and ensure that all instruments are properly installed and are in good working condition. They shall also monitor the execution and usage of instruments from time to time. If required, they shall organise training seminars with the help of the suppliers for effective usage of the instruments.

They shall make maximum usage of the instruments for the common benefit of all. They shall be responsible for the maintenance of the instruments also. They shall also keep record of usage of instruments so that those are available for checking by Board members.

Project Recognition

Project recognition shall be done with the help of all donors and team of Shriram Education Society. Proper publicity shall be given through various newspapers so that people are well aware of such facility. Also, the benefited students and their families shall help us recognise the project for others.
