The hamlet of Corral Grande is located in the district of Sanagoran, province of Sánchez Carrión, department of La Libertad. The sources of income in the hamlet come from agriculture, which they do from November to March, during the rainy season, and the crops they plant are wheat, barley, corn, and potatoes. They also have income from another activity, which is livestock, and considering that the hamlet of Corral Grande has an average of 50 dairy cows, which produce an average of 200 liters of milk per day, these sources of income are not enough to support the family. The liter of milk is sold for one sol, but if this milk production is transformed into butter, cheese, yogurt or manjarblanco, their income would improve considerably, because the liter of milk is transformed into manjarblanco and half a kilo of manjarblanco can be sold for 10 soles, obtaining a greater profit, and also from 5 liters of cheese a kilo of cheese is obtained which is sold for 18 soles, significantly increasing their profits, but they do it in an artisanal way and in a small space. It is for this reason and after carrying out a series of evaluations, interviews and meetings with the residents of Corral Grande and authorities, it was decided to carry out the project of IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A DAIRY PRODUCTS PROCESSING PLANT IN THE HAMLET OF CORRAL GRANDE, SANAGORAN DISTRICT, SANCHEZ CARRION PROVINCE, LA LIBERTAD DEPARTMENT.
