 Purulia is a poor and backward region of the state West Bengal in India. Health facilities in this region is very minimum. Rotary through Rotary Club of Purulia is doing tremendous work especially in the field of Eye Care through its well controlled and well-managed Eye Hospital with a motto of "WE CARE FOR EYES". Our aim is to eradicate Avoidable Blindness by the year 2020. We are one of the pioneer member of VISION 2020. By this project we aimed to serve around 20 villages / around 40000 people. Out of the above mentioned number 1000 poor rural people will be selected for free IOL implantation. Your esteemed help will benefit such a huge amount of rural population. The backward region of Purulia will defenitely recognize the help which you are going to render. |
