 The diabetes is one of the most serious health problems of the XXI century, in the context of the increasing globalization, there must be a united voice on the diabetes anywhere in the world.
This project has an objetive:o Improve the quality and life expectancy of the diabetic people through a PROGRAM OF ATTENTION AND TREATMENT mainly preventive and of control.
ROTARY CLUB TARTAGAL CHAGUAR- 4800 D.I. - ARGENTINA INVITES: a Club or Rotarian District from another country to collaborate in a PROJECT OF SHARED SUBSIDY, donating the necessary funds:
-To acquire and to install very necessary apparatuses for the control and the correct treatment of the diabetes that permits the obtaintion of dependable and precise results for the detection and/or confirmation of the pathology.
- To equip a physical space intended to hold meetings to educate and to inform the community. THE BENEFICIARY INSTITUTION OF THE REQUIRED DONATION IS: The Diabetic Friends of Mosconi Association (AMI. DIA. MOS). THIS PROJECT WILL BENEFIT THE COMMUNITIES OF:

The San Martin Department, located to the northwest of the Province of Salta is one of the regions with greater social deficit in Argentina:
• 40% of the population possesses dissatisfied basic needs.
• 72% of the population is not covered with social works.
• The population of the Department is of approximately 150 thousand inhabitants.
• In the General San Martin Department the greater quantity of Aboriginal Communities concentrates, 56.50% of the provincial total (8 ethnic groups).
• The city of Gral, Enrique Mosconi, according to the last census has around 23 thousand inhabitants of which there is a 4,5% of diabetics.
• The city of Tartagal possesses 50 thousand inhabitants approximately, of which more than 3% are found affected |
