The Matching Grant application number from TRF is #68985.

The TRF Staff in charge of this grant is Santa Leal (Santa.leal@Rotary.org).

Malda District’s total population is approx 4 million and it is spread in 3455.66sq km area. In the state of West Bengal at present, Health care Sector is very poorly developed compared to other states of India, especially in rural areas. Many Cardiac and Trauma patients die on the way to hospital only due to lack of good Ambulance equipped with emergency medical facilities. It’s an urgent need of the community to have such a modern Ambulance to save these people.

This project will address this very important and urgent need of the community.
