 Huis Klippedrif is the only old age home in Napier,catering for most of our elderly. It is a four story building that has been enlarge over the years and has floor at 4 level with RAMPS between the floors. This has become a danger to the older folks who need to move to the lower levels for meals, social meeting, libary and entertainment. We are working to put a lift (elevator) in the building to let the wheel chair bound and the handicapped folks more freedom with out the fear of an accident (It has happened and so far we are blessed as no serious injuries have happened.) |
