Edu-Kit

$13,900

To provide a school kit for approximately 610 students who would otherwise not have adequate school supplies. These children reside in poverty stricken communities where unemployment hovers around 50-60%. HIV/AIDS has left many to fend for themselves. They lack basic school supplies. This project will bring joy and motivation to study harder, this being a major way to break the cycle of poverty through education.

This project will improve the quality of life in these communities as the Edu-Kits equip students with basic tools for a better education.

Three schools will receive these Edu-Kits being Nichols.W.A> Lewitt and the Copesville Primary Schools

This project has been satisfactory completed. It was a one off project for the Copesville Primary School in Pietermaritzburg South Africa. RI have made another similar grant for two different schools, also in South Africa which will be completed this month with the handover of 1600 School Kits. Wonderful projects.
