 Kushtia is a poor and neglected regin of Bangladesh. Health facilities in this district along with adjoing districts is very minimum. Rotary through Rotary club of Dhaka North is doing tremendous work especially in the field of Eye Care through its well controlled and well managed Rotary Club of Dhaka North Eye Hospital at Kushtia with a motto of to eradicate blindness in conjunction with other stake holders. By this project we will be able to furnish our second operation theater with necessary eye equipment to undertake microsurgery as we have all equipment required in our main operation theater which is functional with two floors completed out of six floors.
By this project we will be covering three more districts beside Kushtia with a population of 25 lac. We will have over 2.5 lac people to attend and 25,000 operation to be done. But we may be able to attend 25,000 people and conduct operation to over 2500. | See Photo Album |
