	D-1140    Mexico - Tijuana Christmas Blankets 2008 $38,090 This project is a project of Serving Hands International We as Rotarians have visited several colonias in the Tijuana area to see what we could do to assist them with their most basic needs. We have decided that warm blankets for the winter months in their unheated shelters would be one of their basic needs. Over 5800 families at 18 different missionary locations would receive a blanket in early December of 2008. Rotarians from the Mission Valley Club in San Diego and the Oeste club in Tijuana would assist in the distribution at several of the sites.
