 To provide with sufficient number of computers for the computer class and to purchase a projection apparatus in order to increase quality of education.
Mumcular Sitare Özkan Multi Programme High School is the only high school in Mumcular ( 30km fron Bodrum in the province of Mugla) with 4,000 population and the villages in the vicinity with approximately 3,500 population. Some 250 students receive education in the High School every term.
When we visited the High School, we noticed that a class of 30 students could only have the lessons in groups of 15 due to lack of sufficient number of computers, and during the lesson two students have to share one computer. Students coming from families with low income, receive education far from computer & information technology which is used in every realm in modern world and will provide them improvement in every aspect.
We, as Karia Rotary intend to provide 18 computers and 1 projection device to Mumcular Sitare Özkan High School with this Project with your support. Such means of technology will improve quality of education and youth in the region will be better prepared for future. |
