1) This school has been started in the year 1990-91 with 200 children and today the number of children for primary section has been increased to 3000.

3) The school has requested for the basic need such as Benches (660 nos.) for the kids, which will be used by the kids who are coming to the school for getting primary education.

5) Considering the demand of vocational training outside, the school representatives have also requested to set up a Computer Lab starting with 10 Computers which will help the kids to get the basic computer education and well-versed with it so that after completing their studies till 10th Standard, they can work part time by doing small diploma courses, if required, and continue their higher studies.

Project Beneficiary
Considering the priorities, club recommends donation of 250 no. 2 seater Benches as it will help 500 Kids to get proper infrastructure
Donation for setting-up Computer Lab will benefit approx. 500 students from 5th to 10th Standard
Benefits
This grant approval will benefit in total approx. 500 kids and leave a long-term impact by providing vocational education to the School kids which will help them to earn their livelihood.
Project Completion
Total Project Completion can be targeted within 8-12 weeks from receipt of grant amount by the school.
Describe specific activities of the host and international partners in implementing the project. What will the Rotarians who are members of the partner clubs do during the project? • Rotary club members can help the NGO for negotiating the better rates with the vendors and keep visiting the NGO to ensure that the equipment donated to them is maintained on regular basis.
Other Participation
During the project, other Rotarians and Ann’s can participate in the voluntary activities such as :
Helping the school by providing necessary assistance on improving infrastructure by donations in kind, providing help to children for teaching specific subjects as per their interests etc. |
