 On the low resources communities a great amount of people with osteoporosis problems has been detected, due to the few economic resources that do not allow them to have a suitable feeding and in addition they do not count on the possibility of the medical access to detect the problem, and much less to acquire products than fortified the processes of calcification of the people. This project tries to equip foundation FAS (Foundation of Support to Solidarity), organization that less serves of health to the favored population, of a bony equipment of densitometry that allows it to offer this additional service to its patients. Additionally it will be used by the Rotary Clubs of the region when they make medical and odontológical brigades in urban and rural communities that do not have access to these services of health, to determine his levels of decalcification and to provide them, with resources of the subvention, the dosis of nitrate of calcium necessary to stop the process and to fortify the bony structure. The number of benefitted people will be of 4,000 with examinations during first year and 2,000 of them with provision of the medicine. |
