 The Institution Homes Maria Goretti takes care of 30 children between 7 and 18 years old that do not have a home to live, some of them have been left or mistreated and others abused. The Institution provides basic necessities like house, feeding, education and health, in addition the foundation offers psychological aid, and asistance.
Due to the great amount of requests that have of children looking for a shelter for their survival, the institution takes the decision to increase their capacity to 40 children (10 children more); therefore, for these additional children it is required of the dowry of beds, mattresses and white clothes.
Additionally, it is necessary to have some essential elements to improve his operation and allow to comfort and well-being of the children, as they are washing machines, fans for the rooms and areas of study, tables for dining room with his chairs.
In addition they need a computers room that will allow the children to make the homeworks, access to Internet, access to virtual encyclopedias of which it is impossible to have in physical, access to books consultation to obtain one better academic preparation. The project will offer a better preparation and allow them to have better opportunities and to become qualified in specific areas of work, its is going to be very useful when they leave the institution.
