This will help 400 people gain access to safe water and 1708 people gain access to sanitation.
Water/sanitation will be maintained by two village members who will be trained by construction partner.
International partners visited the site in March 2008 to experience at first hand villagers' problems with water/sanitation. Visit was also made with host Mali Rotarians and Mali WaterAid Country Manager (also a Rotarian) who will oversee the project. |
