The project is to provide 8 rural schools in Muang Ubon and Warin Chamrab Cities, Ubon Ratchathani Province with charcoal activated/catalytic resin filtration system to provide clean water for schools students, teachers and villagers. Currently these schools need treated drinking water. North-eastern region of Thailand is very dry and hot. In dry season, schools use deep well ponds containing a high percentage of insoluble solids and impurities in the water. In rainy season, schools use water from the river or ponds which use sand as filtration system. Treating drinking water to remove the impurities and soluble solids will prevent many health problems to 5,000 students, teachers and villagers. 12-24 months to complete the project |
