	D-1225    Thailand - Muang Ubon and Warin Purified Drinking Water $16,500 The project is to provide 8 rural schools in Muang Ubon and Warin Chamrab Cities, Ubon Ratchathani Province with charcoal activated/catalytic resin filtration system to provide clean water for schools students, teachers and villagers. Currently these schools need treated drinking water. North-eastern region of Thailand is very dry and hot. In dry season, schools use deep well ponds containing a high percentage of insoluble solids and impurities in the water. In rainy season, schools use water from the river or ponds which use sand as filtration system.
