Food for Children

$18,438

Due to the poverty resulting from the Communist regime in Romania there are many families that struggle and that are not capable of providing proper care for their children. Many parents abandon their children or many children run away to the streets to escape poverty and abuse. This is why programs like “Mia’s Children”, a day care center that provides assistance to struggling families to avoid children become street children, are very important. Mia’s Children Association provides assistance to 30 – 40 children in need ages 2 to 18. As Mia's Children population of orphaned or abandoned children is growing, day to day living and education has become more complex and costly. Children are very well taken care by Mia's organization. They provide food, cloths and shoes. Then they provide education, all children go to school every day and then prepare their homework assisted by Mia and Costel. In Mia's Children Association kids learn to develop their talents and artistic aptitudes. They sing, dance and and most of them do painting. This is one of the Mia's family wonderful result: the very nice paintings done by the children.
