Mobile Clinic for Mothers

West bengal villages are thickly populated with migrant people below poverty line without access to state operated health facilities. Most of the expectant mothers do not have antenatal care and medicines giving birth to very low weith babies who most of the times do not survive beyond 1 year.

Need of the hour is to provide regular checkup to these vulnerable pregnant mothers and children at the footstep of their own villages through such Rotary aided mobile clinics equipped with medical equipments,medicines paramedical staff and doctors on a fixed day and time each week at different villages and provide medical checkup,nutritional supplements and vaccinations. Intended beneficiaries are the women and child population of 10 village cluster with population of 10,00,000 directly. Indirectly it shall benefit the whole family so it shall have a far reaching effect on 60,00,000 people.

The project shall be completed in 6 months time of arrival of funds.
