This project is completed. Project listed for the 2009-10 Rotary Year. The Matching Grant application number from TRF is #71102. The TRF Staff in charge of this grant is Mireya Morales (Mireya.Morales@rotary.org).
SD North Rotary is wanting to support 3 missionaries who are trying to install water filters in the homes of needy people who live next to a river with parasites in Honduras. These people drink the same water that serves to wash clothing, feed animals, etc. This is obviously not a healthy situation. The local rotary club will be asked to support the installation and maintaince of as many filters as the grant will cover.
