	D-1540    Honduras - San Pedro Sula(La Al Water Filters $29,140 San Diego North Rotary Club with the help of Shawn Plowman have identified a need for 500 water filters in La Aldea del Rio Blanco, a town of needy people in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. They currently drink water from the river that has parasites. The filters cost $70. each. SD North has $12,000 to put into the grant, and are hoping for $4000 DDF from District 5340. SD North Rotary is wanting to support 3 missionaries who are trying to install water filters in the homes of needy people who live next to a river with parasites in Honduras. These people drink the same water that serves to wash clothing, feed animals, etc. This is obviously not a healthy situation.
