School Equipment

$35,274

Nativity Prep Academy is a school in one of San Diego’s poorest neighborhoods. It is a school for “at risk” kids who attend this school tuition free. Nativity Prep is modeled after several schools through out the nation where over 85% of its students eventually attend college. Other schools in these type neighborhoods send less than 10% to college. This school has a six day, ten hour curriculum which includes all aspects of a complete education. In this grant, we are asking for funds to pay for chairs, desks and other equipment required to provide an adequate education for theses kids.
