	D-1656    Honduras - Olanchito Water Project $24,999 Description of the Project The community of Potrerillos, belonging to Olanchito’s municipality, Honduras, is one of the populations with higher incidence of gastrointestinal diseases since there is not a system of safe drinkable water for the human consumption. For such a reason this community has been chosen by the Rotary Club of Olanchito to be the beneficiary of the construction of a well of 200 feet deep, which main function is going to be the extraction of water that then is going to be stored in a tank of 10,000 gallons by means of an electrical submersible bomb of 3 HP with capacity of 80 gpm, later, a distribution network with public keys is going to be constructed. This project will benefit approximately 1,000 people, with a total cost of $ 24,999.02. Our primary international sponsor is the District 7750 from Green Wood City, USA, with a contribution of $ 11,357.00, also District 4250 is doing a contribution of $ 4,000.00, and the host club will contribute $ 100.00.
