Mera Pakistan Community School System is being run by Mera Pakistan Foundation for development of talents and providing primary and secondary education to the children from very poor families in its Community Schools. Trust provides books, stationary and teacher’s salary to run the school. The schools are from play group to Primary. Total number of the non formal primary schools is 26 and total number of Children is 990. Trust also runs a high school in District Kasur, Pakistan at Khara Road where 400 children are provided English medium quality education. Children after passing their primary class are mainstreamed in Government high schools and to Mera Pakistan High School. Presently the pick and drop of these children is a problem as High school does not own school van/bus. Rotary Club of Lahore Shaheen has adopted the high school as its club project and plans to provide transportation facilities to the schools i.e., Two Vans. High School location is Pakiza Colony, Khara Road, Kasur, Pakistan and it would the project location as well. The Vans will be used to pick and drop the students from home to school and school to home. Project will benefit 400 children directly. |
