 We at Rotry club of Baeilly east (dist -3110) want to set up a qality health clinic to serve the rural popultion who are deprived of mecdical services making them dependent on unqalified doctors (qacks) without diagnostic facilites.
The people helped will obviously be the poor farmers and labourers and their families, the dialy income of most of whom is less than $2 only.
They can not pay for the medical facialities hence the clinic should be free for all.
It should also be equipped with diagnostic set up.
we are planning to have a least two qalified doctors for the job with one of them being a gynaecologist.
We have some docotrs and paramedics who are ready to be a part of the project for a very low salary to serve the poor. Some of our members are also ready to work for free for the project.
The budget of the project will be around $ 43,000
to be expended as follows
Setup for the building of the Clinic - $ 16,000
Furnishing and Medical euippments - $ 10,000
Salary for Doctors and staff (per anum) - $ 07,000
For distribution of medicines (per anum) - $ 05,000
Running cost the diagnostic setup and the - $ 05,000
clinic (per anum)
Out of this the expenditure for the setup for the building and equipments will be required in the beginning only.
We are planning to arrange $ 18,000 on our own with the help of our club members and some local sponsors.
For the rest $ 25,000 we are looking for a grant.
