A barangay in the northern portion of Caloocan City called Bagumbong area, which is a relocation site of families along the railroad of Metro Manila with a population of 18,540. Presence of high rate of unemployement and underemployement. Presence of insufficient safe drinking water supply and inadequate services and other facilities to cope with large number of population. Since water is a source of life, lack of potable water can cause sickness and even death.
The project will provide a deep well system in the community. Currently, the area has no safe drinking water. Approximately 18,000 people will enjoy the benefit of improved health and hygiene. At least five (5) artesian well is needed in the community to have adequate supply of water. |
