Toilet Bowls Project

$15,222

the grant budget is solely for the purchase of 1,000 pcs of toilet bowls that is to be distributed on private household that DO NOT have toilets.

Many households in Atimonan do not have indoor toilet facilities (nor outdoor facilities for that matter), especially outside the town proper. As a result, human defecation happens “all around”, posing serious health risks, especially for playing children but also by transmission of bacterial (E Coli) and viral diseases through insects and rodents.

Provision of toilet bowls would contribute to a healthier environment, reduce the cost of healthcare, and improve the general well-being of the people.
