Classroom Furnishings

$59,040

One of the single biggest needs in the poor areas of Baja California is for well equipped and safe facility spaces for primary education. Many schools and youth facilities have either no or very dilapidated facilities for providing these services. Over the past several years 90 portable facilities have been donated for the purpose of educating children in the poorest areas of Tijuana and Tecate. This grant is to cover the cost for furnishings and classroom supplies for 18 of these portable buildings. These classrooms will make it possible for over 700 children to get an education and help their families to a better way of life. We will supply a list of the Location and Organizations that will participate in the education of these poor children.
