   Philippines - Atimonan

Desktop Computers - 20pcs

$17,000

Most elementary schools in Atimonan have no computers to teach their students how to use these nowadays indispensible skills. Once they go on to high school, they are expected to have basic computer knowledge, but the school system currently does not provide the means to bridge this gap.

The Rotary Club of Atimonan Sunrise endeavors to provide at least 4 elementary schools (Malinao Ilaya, Maligaya, Sta. Catalina and Villa) with 5 desktop computers each and printer (total of 20), to enable them to offer their students these highly relevant and necessary skills and prepare them for the modern, computerized school and work environment.

Almost all schools have adequately trained teachers but no means to impart their knowledge to their students.
