Potable Drinking Water

$12,250

Some public elementary schools in our community do not have access to supply of water for drinking and for hygienic use. An estimated 15 barangay public elementary schools with an average student population of 2000-2500 pupils from grade 1 to 6 will benefit from this project per school year. These beneficiaries are expected to increase every school year. The project will provide water pumps to be installed in the school premises so that student will have direct access to it. This project will also encourage students to engage in sustainable gardening because of the availability of water necessary to grow cash crops. Thus providing additional food source or income for the school and students.
