The TRF Staff in charge of this grant is Frederic Lahaye (Frederic.Lahaye@rotary.org).

The Wheelchair Foundation will provide half of the funding ($84,000) and the rest will be provided by the Rotary Club of Coronado, some District 5340 DDF, and the award from The Rotary Foundation. The amount requested to The Rotary Foundation is limited to $25,000 so that the grant stays non-competitive.

Tiffany from TRF indicated funds were wired on 12/28/05 in the amount of $84,000 to Coronado Foundation account.

Funds were received from TRF and forwarded to the Wheelchair Foundation. Wheelchairs will be delivered in six months....approximately July 2006.

The Wheelchair foundation has requested that a release liability letter be signed prior to chair manufacturing due to the shipment of chairs into Palestinian territory. That process is almost complete.

Jennifer Berg accepted interim report. Indicated that next report will be due 27-March-08, or within 2 months of project completion which ever comes first.

Project has been completed. Awaiting final report from participants.

Final report was submitted but Jennifer Kordell requested the following in order to complete the report:
Bank Statement: that correlates with the statement of income and expenses and a receipt for the wheelchairs.
Independent Financial Review: form sent to club members needs to be completed by a certified accountant.

Jennifer Kordell wrote that she received the bank statements and the independent financial review. As all required information has been received, TRF has marked this file closed. The two new MG applications may now be re-submitted.
