 The city of Dehradun, capital of the State of Uttarakhand in R.I. District 3080 has a boarding school for bright girls from impoverished families of the State which is free for these girls for their education, food, hostel stay, uniforms, books, stationery and all other needs. School is from class V to XII. The management spends around US$ 1000 on each girl each year. The school designed for 280 girls currently has 240 girls on rolls. The parental income of the girls should not exceed US$120 per month for admission to school.
The school requires books and audio visual equipment for the library and for showing educational films and other material on the screen. The total expenditure on this project would be 29000 US$. The local Rotary Club will be able to contribute 8000 US$ with additional 2500 US$ being available from the DDF of R.I. District 3080.
We need a co-sponsor from outside India willing to contribute US$ 8000/- to accomplish this Matching Grant for a total amount of 29000 US$ contribution of TRF in this project willbe 10500 US$
