|
Insurgency in Northern Uganda has, over the last 15 years, led to massive displacement of rural population to internally displaced people's camps. The population of such camps are currently estimated at.... people, mostly women and children with limited access to basic facilities like water, and almost no access to any medical facilities. This project working with volunteer doctors from India and Uganda, will carry out surgical interventions (urologists, general surgeons, orthopaedic, eye specialists, gynecologists) for for an estimated 1,200 patients. |
