Mobile VanOPD and surgery/medicare awareness to effected community/areas will be provided humanity service at affordable cost.

Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Charitable Hospital, Ludhiana, has join hands to install the "ROTARY EYE CARE CENTER" and will provide required structure.

Town has population of over 3 mlns. App 1mln working in Wool/Iron steel/Chemicals/Gasses industries. Air/Water pollution create cronic Eye ailments. Ophehalomoligist have old equipment-cost more-slow treatement-time loss.

Present setup cost US$150-200 to unskilled will cost $75-100, save time & working hrs loss, save money, efficiency. Will create public awareness, use media/free eye checkup camps. Provide community training etc.

Per Suresh Chaudhry, the Official Inauguration and handing over the equipment to the beneficiary Hospital was performed by PRIP Luis Vicente Giay, Chairman of The Rotary Foundation, during his recent visit to RID-3070 India in the presence of RRFC Zone 5 & RFI representative. Representatives of the International Partner were also at this event.
The public inauguration will be performed on December 23, 2006.

The recomended equipment has been installed & completed only in December 2006, necessary information was shared on this web in January 2007. Report to TRF is in process to go during April 2007.

Against the MG Funds for three equipments, after negotiated price of delivery in India, got refistered the Hospital for direct import, MG funds were saved & after due permission added one more equipment, additional money was raised localy without burden on TRF, against $49,750 expences were $57,256 ie app $7,500 added by saving and local because of initial inauguration by PRIP Luis Giay, Chairman TRF & TRF Dignitaries.
