Safe Drinking Water System

The purpose of this project is to construct a potable water distribution system for the community of Santa Rosa in the Los Reyes district of the state of Michoacan, Mexico. The population of the community is 140 people and it has 37 homes. The project consists of construction of a pipeline to bring water from a spring, installation of an underground holding tank and elevated water tower, and construction of a distribution system to bring water to each home. The time needed to complete the project is six months after receipt of the funds.
