This project is a project of Serving Hands International

This grant is for a Piccolo Chemical Analyzer and reagent discs that runs 14 different medical tests. This equipment will be used in the new Saint Damien Children’s Hospital near Port-au-Prince Haiti. This hospital was opened in

2006 to treat the poorest children suffering from alnutrition, tuberculosis,Aids, and many other diseases at no cost to their parents. Over the last 12 Years thousands of children have been cared for by the missionaries at this site.

Hilary Troester wrote that TRF is unable to issue payment because the contribution and forms from the RC of Port-au-Prince have not been provided. the MG will be automatically cancelled if the Foundation does not receive all requirements for payment by 10 December 2007.

Hilary Troester from TRF wrote to follow up on the status of this grant. The grant will be canceled on 10 December 2007 if the requirements are not received by that date. If the partners have already decided that they will not move forward with the grant, please let her know immediately.

Larry Mascari wrote to Hilary that the additional funds and final part of the agreement were sent on 11/27/2007.

Hilary Troester wrote that she does not have the RC Port-au-Prince's signed Sponsor Agreement. Additionally, because the Port-au-Prince funds came from the the RC of Mission Valley's bank, whe will need a bank statement or canceled check showing the funds being sent to the RC of Mission Valley.

Mascari sent the signed agreement form but Hilary Troester did not receive it. She requested it be faxed to her. Regarding the RC of Port-au-Prince contribution, she will be unable to send the grant for payment until this is verified. Deadline will be exteneded to 21 December 2007, assuming the check has been sent from Haiti already.
