 Rotary Club of Lahore Cantt proposes to provide a van and books for the mobile library through Alif Laila Book Bus Society.
School Outreach and Support is an essential role played by Alif Laila, which is in crucial need of further development. The reference library is used as a venue for teachers’ training workshops and teachers visit the library for reference books. However, we plan to expand this area by extending the services offered to schools and teachers.
Objectives of the project are:
1. To bring children and books together in a colourful and happy environment so that a lifelong friendship is fostered between the two.
2. To empower the children who are most vulnerable and disadvantaged by providing them with library facilities and better learning environment. |
