Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego Total Budget: $7,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Youth Projects Grant will support & expand the club's current Rotary Youth Programs including literacy projects like Reading Across America aimed at improving reading skills during the school year and summer break, After-school programs focused on STEM, school backpacks & supplies, LEAD, Model UN and scholarships that will help recipients with cost of books, housing & other expenses for college or technical school. All clubs members are involved in various ways depending on the project.
