Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego Total Budget: $3,500 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: The Coast Walk Trail Prospect Place Trailhead is dilapidated and is in urgent need of improvements The Prospect Trailhead for the iconic Coast Walk Trail is in urgent need of repair. The trailhead is within 2 blocks of downtown La Jolla, and has been used as a public dumping area and is rapidly approaching being unsafe for public use. The improvements involve removing trash, dilapidated chain link fence and dumped concrete, cleaning and trimming vegetation and purchase/installing 25 feet of commercial grade post and chain. This project is supported by La Jolla Sunrise Rotary and Friends of Coast Walk Trail.
