Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego Total Budget: $7,500 Areas of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention, Community economic development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Sponsoring students to LEAD and RYLA This grand will be used to help fund 2 schools, 6 students to LEAD on October 15-16, ($1,500.00) 2022, 16 Students to RYLA on April 14-16, 2023 ($6,000.00). Members from Old Mission rotary club will be involved in both of these projects Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) Due to Covid LEAD was cancelled. We ended up supporting 2 teams to Model UN with $1,000, 12 students to RYLA. $4800 and $1700 of our $4000 donation for scholarships for children from financially challenged families to the Boys and Girls Club. This gives us a total of $7500.
