Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego Total Budget: $1,200 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: RI Youth Programs (Youth Exchange, RYLA, Rotaract, Interact) Summary: Sponsor four students to attend District 5340 LEAD in 2022 Sponsor four students to attend District 5340 LEAD in 2022 (instead of just two). LEAD is focused on preparing student leaders to continue their leadership into high school, set and achieve goals, make decisions based on their personal ethics, and create an inclusive community. Selection of students will take place in the fall with the LEAD conference taking place October 15-16. Club members will work with the school to select the students and follow up with them to keep them engaged with the Rotary spirit after the events. Members will also attend LEAD as volunteers.
