Project Description Country: Burundi Location: Bujumbura Total Budget: $2,200 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Equipment purchase for neonatal ward in Bujumbura, Burundi This District Grant is to purchase equipment for the neonatal ward of Hôpital Prince Régent Charles (HPRC), the largest public hospital in Bujumbura, Burundi. The hospital serves a population living in poverty in the city itself and within 100 km. of Bujumbura. Equipment assessment and evaluation of the equipment distributors is in process now. These funds will be spent on either one incubator, several phototherapy lamps or sterilization equipment.
