Project Description

Country: USA

Location: San Diego

Total Budget: $3,000

Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy

Activity Type: Education: General

Summary: RB has a rich and varied history that will be enhanced for community members through the improvement of the museum displays. The Historical Society feels an obligation to keep our community history accurate and available for current and future residents.

The Rancho Bernardo Historical Society is a non-profit organization, dedicated to preserving the local history and increasing public awareness of the area through programs and outreach. We preserve Rancho Bernardo's history to connect with those who came before us and those who will follow. At the heart of our mission is the preservation and enhancement of the displays within our museum. This grant will allow us to repair, replace, create, acquire and expand existing artifacts and displays. These enhancements will, in turn, improve our educational programs connecting to all generations.
