Summary: Sleeping bags and backpacks for our homeless neighbors in PB


Submitted via San Diego Coastal for Pacific Beach Rotaract.

We are requesting funds for the purchase of backpacks and sleeping bags for homeless individuals in our community, to be distributed by the Shoreline Community Services outreach team. Shoreline Community Services is an organization that provides homeless outreach, resource navigation, and a drop-in community center located in Pacific Beach. These items are critical in providing comfort, security, and a sense of dignity to those who are unhoused, especially during the winter months. The ability to purchase these supplies as needed would ensure that Shoreline's outreach efforts remain consistent and impactful. The sleeping bags and backpacks will be distributed throughout the winter months.
